Get out your handkerchiefs and join us for the 8th annual North Beach Mardi Gras!
Event Details
Check in at the North Star between 1:30 and 2 PM where your wristband will get you drink specials including Hurricanes and Abita beer, as well as a heaping assortment of beads! Music by the legendary North Beach Brass band will follow soon after, and then we will "Take it to the streets!", parading through our beautiful neighborhood streets and Washington square park. Our parade will finish up at Tupelo, where you can help yourself to N'awlin's fare including jambalaya, red beans and rice, cornbread and mac and cheese straight from the Tupelo kitchen! There will be more music, beads, and of course drink specials as well up until 7 PM!
Everything is included in your ticket price.
This is one party you DO NOT want to miss! Get your early bird ticket and guarantee yourself a spot on the parade and at the buffet. A portion of all ticket sales will go to supporting young lads and lasses at the Bird school of music who are learning how to play in the New Orleans tradition.
